Amanda Hawthorne practices a wide range of securities and corporate law, including corporate formation and governance, private placements of equity and debt securities, initial public offerings (IPO), mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Hawthorne was Senior Attorney Editor in Thomson Reuters’ Legal Product Department. She worked on legal editorial products involving both statutes and case law, with a particular emphasis on the codification of Tribal law.

Ms. Hawthorne earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where she was the Pro Bono Program Coordinator. She received the Dane County Bar Association’s Pro Bono Law Student of the Year for her extensive pro bono work.
