Jai Kalra practices a wide range of corporate and securities law matters, including corporate formation and governance, private placements of equity and debt securities under Regulation D, Regulation S, and offerings under Section 4(a)(6) of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, Regulation Crowdfunding promulgated thereunder (Reg CF Offerings). Mr. Kalra frequently represents investment banks that act as underwriters or placement agents on various types of capital raising transactions, including initial and follow-on public offerings. Mr. Kalra also represents companies on Mergers & Acquisitions, Public Offerings, Exchange Act compliance and general corporate matters. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kalra was a corporate associate at Goodwin Procter LLP.

Mr. Kalra obtained an LL.M. degree with a Business Law Certificate from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. He earned an LL.B. from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Legal Sciences from the University of Mumbai, India, achieving the trifecta of law degrees in common law countries. Mr. Kalra is admitted to practice law in the State of California.
