Mariya Mendel is an Associate at Bevilacqua PLLC. She practices corporate and securities law, which includes representing issuers and underwriters in initial public offerings, private placements of equity and debt securities under Regulation D and Regulation S, due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, and Exchange Act compliance. Ms. Mendel also assists with general corporate matters, including everything from formation of a company to establishment of equity incentive plans, corporate governance, and compliance requirements. She works with senior counsel on transactions where they represent investment banks that act as underwriters or placement agents on various types of capital raising transactions. Ms. Mendel graduated in May 2022 with her Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University Law School, where she was the President of the Tax Law Society, a member of the Moot Court Board, and a member of the Mock Trial Board. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in both Accounting and Political Science from Florida State University.
