Mike Weitzman’s practice focuses on corporate and securities law, including representing issuers and underwriters in initial public offerings, private placements of equity and debt securities under Regulation D and Regulation S, and Exchange Act compliance. Mr. Weitzman also assists clients with mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters, including formation, corporate governance, and a wide array of commercial transactions and strategic ventures.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Weitzman spent ten years working internationally for a Fortune 200 company. During that time, he was responsible for driving corporate development initiatives throughout APAC, EMEA, and LATAM, applying his cross-border experience, language proficiencies, and cross-cultural competencies to design and implement strategic corporate initiatives. Mr. Weitzman maintains full professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese.
Admitted to practice law in the State of New York, Mr. Weitzman joined Bevilacqua PLLC from the global corporate and securities practice of an AmLaw 100 firm. Mr. Weitzman earned his J.D. degree from Cleveland State University College of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and served as Senior Editor of the Cleveland State Law Review.
